Ellie Water's mother has been killed by a group called the Black Coats. She is convinced that she'll lose her mother's pride and disgrace her legacy by not avenging her, to the point where finding the killer is her motivation in life. The she-assassin searches for the one who wronged her with the intent to kill, all while trying to keep up the facade of teenage life at high school. On top of that, a nosy boy with a crush haunts her like a ghost, obscure warnings present themselves to her, and the leader of her own company tries to erase any urge she has to pursue her mother's killer. Glory awaits her if she can find the killer, but is it possible? A surprise might be in store for the vigilante killer, one that could turn her life upside down forever.
