I noticed someone walk towards me. I stopped to gaze at the person. He was tall and well built. His ripped chest was visible under his plain white t-shirt. His track pants hung loose, a little below his waist. His facial features appeared familiar. He fiddled with his phone when he walked and did not look anywhere else until he reached the door right across the hall. He entered the apartment but paused before he could shut the door. His eyes met mine and I suddenly felt nervous. He raised an eyebrow at me and I looked away uncomfortably. A smile played at the corner of his lips as he shut the door. Scarlett Parker is extraordinary. Waking up from a coma after fourteen years and having lost her childhood, the small town girl is struggling to live like a normal adult. The fingers previously on my cheek were now tilting my head back. "Scarlett Summer," he said into my ear, "sometimes you are the most infuriating person I have ever met." "I'm sorry." I whispered. "God, why are you apologizing? It is me who should be sorry for all of the unspeakable thoughts in my mind pertaining to you. You know I was not kidding when I said I was a dominating person. I know you've experienced it first-hand. I'm too rough with you I know that. You're just so, so breakable." He whispered the last part in my ear with so much behind it. "Sometimes I think I want to break you. Just shatter you into tiny pieces." His voice was shaky as he made his confession. "Do it then." I frowned, thrown off "Do i...remember?" "Do you remember..." she starts but her voice falters. She glances down at the sand, biting her lip debating whether to even continue.
