The year is 1909. The World is uneasy. The Mundanes of the world, long ruled by the Magi, have turned to a radical notion for their salvation - Science! They have bent fire to their will and harnessed its tremendous power, a feat that for three thousand years had been possible by magic alone. Some Magi, eager to keep up, have begun to marry the secrets of science to the forces of magic, becoming unimaginably wealthy in the process. A name has been coined for this ongoing opportunistic process - the Symbiotic Revolution. Meanwhile, in the heart of Europe, in the Kingdom of Domremy, thirteen year old Gregory Grey is hellbent on finding his vanished parents. And a mysterious girl in the neighbouring dictatorship-in-lockdown may hold all the answers. Edit: The updated draft of this story is now being posted at gregorygrey.net. Earth was thriving in the year 3180. The discovery of magic changed the way of the world. As the research of magic continued, people found that they had magic hidden inside of their bodies. Years went by and people created methods that allowed them to control and bind magic into inanimate objects. Many advancements were made and new discoveries were made each day. There was one discovery, however, that would lead humans to their breaking points: demons. A team of explorers discovered the fabled race and fled on sight. The creatures followed the team as they fled back to Earth. With an ominous warning, Earth prepared for war. As they all suspected, humans lost. The survivors fled to their sister planet, Centauri Asaris. They began their new life. When it seemed that the demons would never find the humans, the creatures showed up. Will humans learn to survive? Willow, a young mage, is a descendant of the survivors and lives a relatively easy life. This all changes when she begins her high school life. With the disappearance of her parents, a letter, and a mysterious school Willow and her friends' lives will change forever. **This amazing cover was created and given to me by KateJordanOriginal** **This story is now completed.
