The year is 2015, and it's been thousands of years since Queen Nefertiti ruled the land of the New Kingdom. Amaunet is a 17 year old girl who is new to Egypt, but has Egyptian blood. She stumbles upon Queen Nefertiti's final resting place, and thus begins an incredible journey. This is a condensed description. I will provide a full description on the first page. A world torn apart by natural disasters and stamped on by war, what is left of the great countries of the past rise again as Empires. UPAE, or the United Provinces of the American Empire, has managed to survive, even thrive through six generations of solely female rulers, beginning with the first leader, formerly Mrs. President before California fell into the ocean, Yellowstone became a volcanic crater, Global warming turned Florida into an an Archipelago and the sun rendered modern circuitry useless. The successful creation of heirs was ensured by the Choosing, a process by which the young heir finds at least two suitable mates in the male population through extreme testing and beauty screening. This is where we find Nefertiti, the most recent heir in the successful line, in the midst of Choosing the four that will rule her empire with her, however only one will have the duty, the honor, of producing the next heir. However, years of relative peace and prosperity are about detonate as the volatile Republic of Antarctica begins its secret plans. They are desperate. And hungry. So the question is not whether the destruction will come. The question is... Who will survive?

Septunis is your ordinary village in Lower Egypt. Best friends Nena and Zalika live there, and life is going on just fine. Until Nena discovers that she is a godling and can host the power of a god. Which is bad news, as magic is illegal. On top of that, she also discovers that she is the only one who can restore the balance between Maat and Isfet. This means that she and Zalika travel to the oldest pyramid, and try to do just that. NOTE: This is a first draft, and a short(ish) story. It is not by any means perfect. I wrote this for a project for school, and decided to put it on here. Any feedback is welcome. This story is set in Ancient Egypt.

As the reincarnation of Princess Hathor, Lady Hathor Saidi now Carnahan goes back to Cairo for her twin brother, Jonathan, and younger sister, Evelyn. Hathor goes back home with the mournful memories of her late husband, Lord Ausar Saidi, and the thought of raising their child without him. Plagued with memories of a past life, Hathor travels with Rick O'Connell and her siblings to Hamunaptra. Upon her arrival, a 3,000-year-old being stirs from underground, plagued with rage towards a woman all those years ago for threatening his love. High Priest Imhotep, after being risen from the dead, plans to continue the resurrection of the Pharaoh's mistress, Anck-Su-Namun, to make her pay for what she did to him and his love, Princess Hathor. Finding his love in this life was in the plans, but he wasn't expecting it to happen so fast. Between wanting to avenge his love and just forgetting everything to be with his love on his mind, Imhotep still believes that he is not worthy of his princess. After Imhotep's sarcophagus was opened, a guardian released Hathor's memories, allowing her to remember everything from 3,000 years ago. This is going to be based 1990's 'The Mummy'. However, since I love Egypt and the movie so much I was going to try to make my own X reader type book. I always had the tendency to feel bad for the villains, but I don't think Imhotep was really a bad guy. It's just he had a lot of hatred and vengeance for those who cursed him for loving someone after she killed herself. So due to this I'm going to change the story just a tad, and have a more happy ending. I am also naming her after Seti the first real daughter named Tia. I do not own any of the characters besides my Oc Akila/Tia. Akila Carnahan, is the half-sister of Evelyn and Jonathan. Her brother and sister are half Egyptian while Akila was fully Egyptian. She worked with her sister at the Museum of Antiquities in Cario, Egypt. After she and her siblings found the key and the map to Hamunaptra they went to see a man named Rick O'Connell. They all travel to Hamunaptra, not knowing Americans were going as well to the city of the dead. The night they were heading to Hamunaptra on the boat she got constant visions more than she usually did about her past life. How much will she learn of her old life while in Hamunaptra? What will happen when her sister Evelyn accidentally revives Imhotep from the dead with the book? Will she remember her love with the High Priest? Will she help send him back to his holy resting place or will she be the one to keep balance between them all?
