Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie barely know each other and when they accidentally kiss while Pinkie is doing a cheer leading pyramid and falls, they get to know one another.
Soon, Pinkie and Rainbow start to date and when Rainbows parents find out they practically disown her as a daughter other than to use her as a slave or a piece of trash to abuse.
The school soon finds out about the PinkieDash relationship and doesn't take kindly to it. Rainbow Dash gets physically bullied at school and at home.
When Apple Jack finds out about Rainbow being abused and bullied at home and at school, Rainbow begs her to not tell Pinkie Pie.
However, Apple Jack disobeys Rainbows plead (only to keep her safe) and tells Pinkie Pie about Rainbow being physically bullied and abused at home.
Yet, Rainbow still refuses to dump Pinkie even for her own safety. Pinkie is worried about Rainbow and alerts principal Luna about Rainbows school and home situation.
