What happens when you wake up in a room that's not yours? In a home that you don't know? And a world you never knew existed?
This is what happens to 17 year old Avalona McQuinn. She is confused. When she woke up she was tied to a chair and had a cloth tied at her mouth. She lasted days like this, without water, without food, and without a way to contact the outer world. She had a horrible ache on her side, which wasn't helping.
When her kidnappers told her that they were a pack of alphas and she was now a beta she was hysterical. They told her that she must kill an alpha to become one. If she didn't do as they said, her whole family would be in danger.
