Carmen Michaels constantly finds herself annoyed with the world she lives in and the people it consists of. It is clear she never fit in, but it was more than just a matter of societal issues. It was far bigger. And Carmen finds herself in the middle of it. Special thanks to my editors @dedeeps and @ZainyAbdi. All that glitters is not gold. Natalia Vanderley knows that better than most. In the dystopian society of Astoria, the principal city of the Concordis, you might never know that there used to be an entirely different world before the War of 2012. Instead of chaos and indecision - there is a system. After the decrease of females in the War, there are two males fitted to one female. Unless you have the option of letting science choose for you, the female is on her own and must choose her partner - a decision for life. Natalia Vanderley is seventeen years old and one of the privileged. She has science make her decision - until a terrible mistakes wrecks her Choice. Now, she makes the decision on her own, without any idea as to what she will finally Choose. With West & Josh fighting to be by her side, she must decide. Lust, deceit, anger and fear are just different faces of love. Because love can make you lie. Love can make you kill. Love can make you question the very world you live in.
