The Shadow Fox Chronicles

Fourteen-year old Amelia Walker has not had an easy life.At the age of only 8 months, her bological father walked out on her and her mom. Out of desperation and lonliness, her mother re-maries a cruel and controlling man, who does little to hide his contempt for Amelia, and lets her know on a daily basis, how much of a burden she is.
Then the worst happens, her mother dies of breast cancer, leaving Amelia all alone.Her biological father does not want her, as he has his own family, and neither does her stepfather.
When all seems lost, like a guardian angel, an unknown aunt Chloe appears to take her in.
Although grateful that someone wants her, Amelia is finding it hard to trust anyone- especially an estranged aunt that she never knew existed before her mother's death ! However, having no choice, she embarks on a journey to migrate to England to start a new life with her new-found aunt.
All the while, Amelia is plagues by dreams, dreams of a raven-haired boy, and of a mysterious creature known as " The Shadow fox".
Will Amelia finally find the sense of family she has always been longing for with aunt Chloe?
Who is this raven-haired boy she dreams of nightly?
And who or what is " The Shadow Fox?"

This is a tale I am working on.It's a work in progress, and it's the beginning of a 6 book series.
