Runa Acorsi is a registered sell sword whom spends most of her life in a mercenary encampment just north of the borders to Gemini, a country which is currently facing a war between the Republicas and the Sentinels. As a female, she finds it difficult to be hired, so to avoid such delays, she passes herself as a male. Auctioned off at the price of 860 gold, she is sworn to protect a meager merchant by the name of Kendro, wishing to travel to Gemini capital city, Ministra. With the hostility in that region, likely Runa will encounter soldiers as often as bandits and monsters. Is she truly prepared for the seven month journey to Ministra?

This book has sexual reference and mentions of things that could possibly be triggering to some - e.g. young motherhood and loss of a parent. This work is usually split into two parts, but I have decided to take down the second part, and consider the first part, one book for now, so I can work on the second.
