Madeline is an 18 year old girl in her last year of high school. It's been rough dealing with family problems, school problems, and especially problems within herself.
---I looked him in the eye and was so angry, "It may not be the worst disease in the world but it sure breaks me down and tears me apart inside. It ruins me Jordan and you don't understand- you never will until you experience it!"
Jordan is also 18 and is in the same grade. He's just a normal guy who get's along with everyone, is super smart, athletic and into the arts, plus he's great looking while being a bit cocky sometimes.

"I don't care if you won't let me in and you don't want me near but I will spend the rest of this year trying to figure you out, I want to be with you every step of the way. I know it's not just thyroid disease because it comes with so many other things but I want to be the one to hold you during the times when you can't hold yourself."

I lie there staring into her forest green eyes that were staring back at me. I felt a pang of hurt in my chest when i realize what she just told me.
