He is always excited for his next adventure, and opportunity to prove himself, and this one begins when a strange non-piratey fellow joins up with The Adamantes crew.

This blond stranger becomes a good friend to Haiv, but there's a lot going on behind the scenes. Why did Blondie join the crew? Is the captain really going to Beyond, the land of the dead? Why does Haivan's dead father keep appearing to him? And above all, why does Captain Rodigan care about the insignificant heirloom necklace Haiv received from his father?
