Kaylie is the child of a poor couple in a mystical land. As soon as she was seven, she was sent to a charity school for warriors. There, Kaylie learns of a mystical society of Shapeshifters. Then, she meets Dusk. A dragon. Specifically, a dark dragon. Dusk's mission is to hunt down the young Shapeshifters and bring them back to his master.
