While the destruction of the country unfolds, the destruction of an already dysfunctional family happens. It's the anarchy that separates two siblings from their home, but their differences that separate them from each other. And when Hans returns from a deployment, he falls in love with his bestfriend again, and takes her away from the household, leaving her husband with the kids he's indifferent about. He leaves his children to assume a life with his wife without the kids, but he's unaware that his daughter as unconditional love for him, and that she picked up on his talent for poetry, that he gave up on after he met his wife.
