My name is Lana Woodson. I am one of the forgotten. The government keeps all these special people in small labs as military weapon equipment to use in the future. But some of these people, the Alphas, break free from prisons like this. If they tried to warn the world or the other alphas they would be forgotten. Like amnesia but for everyone. They would have continued their lives without you having been in them. Wonderful memories of you would be replaced with someone else. That's not even the worst part. My mom ran away from me when I was 15 but she wasn't part of the government, neither an Alpha. She was something else. But when they try to make me forget her. I don't and soon her memories grow stronger. Until I realize that I can see every moment she has lived. I can also feel what she feels when I wish to. The government calls people like me the Fortis, the strong. And being strong could just save a world war that could destroy the future.
