Enter the civil war-torn country of Thomasia. A mysterious beast has been killing rebels. Pressure attacks of unknown origin plague the land. When Eva Courtenay, the daughter of a prominent parliamentarian, is kidnapped for ransom, she finds herself face to face with the last thing she'd expect-a teenaged boy no older than her. Despite his youth, Reggie Farris already heads a dangerous sect of rebels, grown adults willing to bleed and die for him. While in his captivity, Eva finds herself charmed by his strangeness. But the quaint reverie is short to last. Reader Advisory: 🩸 👊 🤢 This book is technically a sequel to "Oliver Twisted" but it can be read as a standalone. OT is currently unpublished, as is the 3rd book "Vaudeville". In fact, it's probably a good idea to start with this one. I may change the order-this first, OT second. And. I sometimes do character studies on pretty messed up individuals. And it hopefully goes without saying, but just because I write about something doesn't mean I endorse it. 🦆
