"Why me?" I kept asking myself that simple question. Why was I chosen for this? Did I do something wrong, am I being punished? I sat alone, no one to hear me scream for help, no one to come rescue me. I just want to go home, as I laid down on the cold hard concrete floor I heard the loud noise of metal doors being opened and closed somewhere in the building. 'Please do not come here' I begged to myself, just leave me alone! Not a moment later the door leading into the room I was in opened and a man stepped in, "Get up, it's your turn." All I could do was mentally scream, as I knew I was about to be sold off...

I looked down the side of the building. Should I do this? I thought stepping a little farther towards safety. What have I got to lose? No one loves me, I should just stop being a waste of air. I stepped to the very edge of the building. Come on. I couldn't bring myself to just step off. My heart raced, my hair was drenched with sweat. Just do it. I stepped off, sending myself hurtling towards the pavement.
