The wind blew too hard that night, I thought. 750 miles per hour, killing thirty-one of us. It was just to good to be true to believe that that wind was created by natural causes. Thirty-one. Too many. Eight kids and the rest adults. Everyone hid underground that night, and I thought everyone was safe. I was wrong.
