An ancient land protected by a Tower of Light,
its people ever tempted by Siren song,
and a girl who falls for the wrong boy.

On the island of Skylge, electricity is only for the Currents - the rich ruling class who once came from across the sea and brought the holy fire of St. Brandan to Skylge. Ever since, the light in the Brandaris Tower has protected the islanders. Heeding the Siren's call will drown your body and steal your soul, but the sacred light in the Tower will chase the merfolk away.

When Skylger girl Enna welcomes her brother back from a long sea voyage, he gives her a special present from the mainland - an electronic record only playable on a Current device. The problem is that Royce Bolton, Current heartthrob and the town's most gifted pianist, wants it too. After she stubbornly refuses to sell the LP featuring his favorite artist, he suggests sharing the record by secretly meeting up in his private summer house. Taken aback yet thrilled, Enna agrees - and discovers that there's more than meets the eye when it comes to Current society and the history of Skylge. Why do the Sirens tempt the islanders to give themselves up to the sea? And where does the Currents' monopoly on electricity really come from?

While struggling with these questions, Enna begins to fall for Royce, risking everything to be with a guy who is clearly wrong for her. She will learn that the sound of Sirens isn't the most treacherous thing out there to haunt her dreams.

"Falling for her was the best mistake I ever made." She was supposed to be a myth. Heard in lullabies, feared in legends, forgotten in books. But when Jett Cresswell, a sharp-tongued pirate with an eyepatch and a curse she refuses to name, meets Lorelai, a siren with thunder in her eyes and a voice that can command oceans, everything she thought she knew about the world begins to break apart. Born to steal, raised to fight, Jett has always lived like she was untouchable, too strong, too fast, too smart to be caught by anything, especially love. But Lorelai isn't just anyone. She's everything the sea ever warned her about, and yet, the only thing that makes her feel safe. Drawn to each other in secret meetings and stolen seconds, they begin to unravel truths about one another, truths not even they are ready to face. But falling for someone like Lorelai means choosing risk over reason, and Jett, for all her bravado, begins to fear the one thing she can't fight: losing someone she never planned to need. This is a story about aching want, about monsters with soft hearts, about the sharp line between survival and surrender. It's about what happens when two broken souls find home in each other, but both know home doesn't last forever. It's funny, brutal, beautiful, and real. It will make you laugh and then hurt, then laugh again just to hurt worse. Because some love stories aren't meant to be perfect. Just unforgettable.

A mysterious castaway. A Scottish hero determined to protect her. Can they survive the storm? Cast adrift on the Indian Ocean, Maria carries a terrible secret. Wherever she goes, death soon follows, and she's powerless to prevent it. William McGregor boarded the SS Trevessa in search of adventure, but he gets more than he bargained for when he saves the mysterious Maria from the sea. She can't tell them her tragic tale, so the superstitious sailors make up their own stories - and some would sacrifice her to the waves to save themselves from the coming storm. When the sharks start circling and the storm closes in, are sirens more than just a myth? A tiny taste of what's in store: My defiance was futile. What did it get me? A small raft drifting across the Indian Ocean, with nothing but the sound of waves and the smell of salt and coal-smoke. Smoke meant a ship. I was saved. I squinted into the sunlight, but the waves hid the vessel from me. Maybe I was looking the wrong way. I didn't have the strength to sit up and see. Rough hands seized me. I struggled, but my weakness won. Blue eyes drifted above, the same colour as the ocean below. A tangle of wiry seaweed obscured the rest of the man's face. "It's all right, lass. I'll take care of you." Darkness took me first. This book has been published and is available wherever you buy good ebooks.
