Demi lives in a world identical to ours. There's just one catch, though: she goes to a top secret school for outstanding undercover agents. In her Verse, the Cassiverse, everyone knows about the 10 different parallel worlds, or Verses: the Universe, Sessaverse, Tryllaverse, Jaceverse, Araverse, Willahverse, Hebelverse, Diliverse, Rayeverse, and of course, the Cassiverse. From each Verse originates different forms of life, many that need protecting from the harsh and cruel people of the Universe. When 16 year old Demi and her eight friends go undercover at a Universian high school to gather data about the educational systems, they expected nothing more than a bit of snooping. But when a sudden, unexplainable attack on a school student occurs, Demi and her friends begin to suspect there's a lot more going on than meets the eye.
