There was only one seat left on the bus. That seat just happened to be taken by his crush, Noah Armstrong.
Jacob Green isn't cool. He prefers a book to a party. He prefers history to sports. In fact, look at the definition of 'uncool' and there he would sit, reading. Noah, however, is the definition of cool. The girls want him and the boys want to be him. Jacob was different. He didn't want to be him or be with him. He wanted to be in love with him.
As the final day of school comes and Jacob endures a day of work, he finds that there is only one seat left on the bus, that seat happens to be taken by Noah. Little does he know that his life is about to change. Jacob is about to embark on all shades of cool.
