Once upon a time, many years ago, when the world was upside down, and Alexander's was too, the Goddess gave him everything he ever wanted. You see, Alexander Auvaci, many, many years ago, was a scholar. His search for knowledge on a great, mythical species, the Lost Souls, was interrupted; he had fallen ill. Gravely ill. Alexander Auvaci may not of made it if the Goddess did not deem him well enough of a person, and made him what he wanted: a Lost Soul.
He was not the first, nor the last. But even the best people can become corrupt, changing their mind... perhaps forever. This happened to Elizabeth Coltons' lover, Shaun Williams. Shaun and Elizabeth, or Liza (Liz-uh), as Shaun would call her, knew each other since their toddler days. One particularly special day, Shaun invites Liza over to his house, a usual event. That day, though, everything changed. Shaun... he had tried to kill her, for if a Lost Soul kills the other, they get the other's power. Or rather, the souls interwined.
