55 years ago, an ancient being known as Vixx and his army invaded Earth by surprise and caused chaos and destruction that lasted for four mouths until another ancient being known as Mother Nature formed a team that would access the powers of the elements and use them to take down Vixx and his army. They were successful in locking him and his army in the void, but lost their powers as a result.
Today, the wife of Vixx has found her way into our world and seeks to bring her husband and his army back by any means necessary with the help of his generals. Mother Nature must call upon a new team of heroes to possess the powers of the elements once more and become Power Rangers to stop her and others who threaten Earth.

The series takes place three weeks after the events of the previous series, where the Grid Warriors sacrificed themselves to save the city from the computer virus. The city is still reeling from the loss of the Grid Warriors, and the people are struggling to come to terms with what happened. Meanwhile, a group of five middle schoolers - Alex, Stacey, Jack, Kristy, and Kai - are going about their daily lives, unaware that they are about to be chosen for a great destiny. The mythical Gosei, a powerful being who has been watching over the Earth, appears to the five middle schoolers and chooses them to become the new Power Rangers, known as the Angelforce. Gosei explains to the team that they have been chosen to protect the Earth from the forces of evil, but he doesn't reveal that the evil force they will be fighting is the Gorma Tribe. The team is hesitant at first, but they eventually accept their new roles as Power Rangers. They begin to learn how to use their new powers and work together as a team. As they start their journey as Power Rangers, they are unaware that they are fighting the Gorma Tribe, who seek to conquer the Earth. The team doesn't want to dishonor the legacy of the Grid Warriors, who sacrificed themselves to save the city, so they keep their true enemy a secret. Throughout the series, the Power Rangers Angelforce will face off against the Gorma Tribe, fighting to protect the Earth and its people. Along the way, they will learn more about their powers, their enemies, and themselves. Preview: "Aqua!" Terra cried as she ran to her badly injured sister. She quickly fell to her knees and cradled her sister in her arms. Her whole body was littered with burns, cuts, and bruises. It looked as if she had beaten to a pulp. Her eyes began to flutter open. She gasped and tried to get away from Terra until she realized that it was Terra. "Terra?" Aqua croaked out in a hoarse voice. "Yes, Aqua, it's me. Don't worry I will get you out of here." Terra reassured as she began to gently help Aqua sit up. "Terra, where is Aura?" Aqua asked in a raspy voice. Terra paused and thought for a minute. Where was Aura? "I don't know. She actually led me here, but I don't know where she went."
