Alice Gia is the lead singer for the band Bloodied and Bruised.  She is 22 and has an awesome girlfriend named Lillian (Lily).  Her bandmates are Zack (Guitarist 20), Theo (Bassist 19), and Peter (Drums 14).  Zack and Peter are brothers.  She treats the boys like they are her brothers.  She deals with Zack's occasional alcohol problem, Theo's shyness, and Peter's childish antics.  She also has her own set of problems with major insomnia (a condition that makes it hard to sleep).  The first three chapters are about the guys problems.
