"No." This couldn't be. Making my footing sure, I rose to my full height. Looking out from the gate, I saw a bridge sparking with color and crystalline. I walked out from the golden alcove shielding my eyes from the light. It was as if gems danced in the air. "Asgard."
Kára Steinndottir, a giant by every means, but smaller than the blue Jotuns that rule the peak of their mountain realm. She is a storm giant, or what Laufey calls the disgrace to the Jotun name. A hunting and gathering tribe, with a knack for raising and tending to creatures. Her people had been forced into submission long ago, she knew that. As a result she serves Laufey as atonement for their rebellion. A peace offering of sorts, food for the dogs to be more accurate. And she would continue this pitiful existence till death, that is, had not strange travelers entered their realm.
They would change her and her realm before she would be able to fathom it.

"And who are you?" The Frost Giant King, Laufey asked. I cleared my throat and puffed my chest out. "I am (Y/N) Ísveig, future wife of Thor Odinson, and daughter of Sigrid the Beauty and Calder Nord. You captured my mother and cursed her. You said the next child she would conceive would be given horrible powers." "You believe we cursed you?" The king questioned, an amused smile playing on his lips. "No, it was your mother who cursed one of us, and lied to you about it. It seems all Asgardians do is lie." I felt all the air leave my body. How could that be? My mother lied? I wasn't cursed? Then how did I have the powers of a Frost Giant? But SHE is there now and Loki has to deal with the emotional rollercoaster within himself. He only blamed himself for her ability to shadow the truth with lies that everyone falls for. He was quite impressed as well. Is he even ready for the love that comes with a Midgardian? But how could he get through this without her? After all, she was the only reason he became King in the first place. But isn't life much simpler when your blaming failures on a Midgardian? What about her? She possessed powers. Powers that no typical Earth human had. How could she come across such powers? Well, a small event with the Avengers led Loki to run right to her small home town. What was so significant about that? I took his hands in mine frantically, causing his eyes to meet mine. "Then hand over the Tesseract and come home, Loki. Please." "I can't." He pulled away. "If I'm not allowed rule on Asgard, then I'll rule here." My eyebrows knitted together in desperation. "Loki, pleas-" My plea was cut shot as a burst of energy and the distinctive clang of metal on metal pushed me over into the god of mischief. We stumbled backwards until I laid on his chest and he grunted from the sudden impact. "Thor." I cursed under my breath. "Sorry..." I began lifting myself off of his body. I narrowed my gaze and quickly stood to rush into Thor's aid, ignoring his dejected expression. I was about to leap off the cliff side when I heard four words that had me frozen in my place unlike anything my powers could do. "I still love you." ___________________________________________ (Y/N) Ísveig thought she'd made peace with Loki's death. She couldn't bring herself to forgive him for everything he had done, obviously, but she was finally beginning to live the life she always wanted. She was no longer deemed future queen of Asgard, and she was slowly learning to control her amplified ice powers. That is, until the god of mischief decides to attack New York and steal the Tesseract. Now (Y/N) must again face her inner demons as her powers quickly deem too much for her to handle, and all her feelings for Loki resurface even though she forces herself to see him as the enemy.
