Alexandra Castillo lives in a world that doesn't get a choice. You were extremely lucky if the government gave you one. When she was seven years old the rate of divorce went up to 95% and the government decided to implement the Mate Program.
The Mate Program is a computer that searches through every person until they find your perfect match, sometimes it's two people. That is the only choice anyone could have.
When Alex turns 17, she is thrown into the program.
Only to find the two people chosen for her are two people she doesn't want a future with.
Alex is allowed 30 days to choose her mate before the Government deems her mate less.
