Everyone takes things for granted. For example talking, food on the table, or even seeing the world.

For me, I knew what it was like for something precious to be ripped forcefully away from me. Something so simple, yet important to others.

The ability to talk.

Alpha Summers is mute. At the age of seven she was captured by a unknown person, but to her alone, and was tortured until she became mute by choice. At the age of sixteen, she was forced to become Alpha of her pack, seeing as she was an only child and her parents were murdered.

Years passed, she is now at the age of twenty-one, fourteen years have passed since she became voluntarily mute and five years since she became Alpha. She earned the respect of her pack through the time of being seven to ten, so being respected as Alpha was easy.

What happens when things get complicated? Can she let in the people she needs too, or keep to the ones she trusts? What happens when certain Alphas begin noticing Alpha Summers? Will she be okay in the end?
