Maya Brooks is your normal 18 year old teenager. She hangs out with her friends, eats pizza, is on the computer way to much. She loves skateboarding, and basketball. I guess you could call her a tomboy. She likes to get dressed up and go out with her friends.

 Everything is normal in till her parents tell her she will be going to California for the whole summer. That is one place where she can be herself.

Maya is going to visit her aunt Emma for the summer. Maya used to go every summer until she went to middle school. 

What will it be like for May to see her friends from back in California. She might even run into someone special. 

Will life be fun in California will she remember things like they used to be or will she miss home??
