Eliana.  By her name, you wouldn't suppose anything was exciting about her. Neither did she.

Eliana Mclaine  lived like a normal teenager until her 16 birthday. Ever since then, she felt a strange attraction towards ice and water.On  June 29, or her 17 birthday, she changed. When she woke up, her room was Frozen In a layer of ice and flooded with water. In her head, she heard a voice calling her name, and telling her to go to the woods. She ran until she ran into a tree and blacked out.

Tanner Anderson was never normal. At 18, he was a skilled fire 'elemental' as they call it. He was walking around one day when he heard foot steps. Around the thick trees he saw a beautiful girl, knocked unconscious.

The elements of elemental are : wind, water, fire, and earth.

Read as the two travel to the base of elementals, trying not to be found by the elementals greatest enemy: the grounders.
