NOTE: This story is terribly written, and editing couldn't even save it, so I don't really suggest anyone read it. Cassie Wynters is everything you think of when you hear ‘Most Popular Girl in School’. She’s the beautiful, rich, heartbreaking head cheerleader. Anything she wants, she gets whether it be clothes, purses or boys. Cassie is guaranteed change when Lilian Rose steps back in to her life. Lilian Rose is a girl who couldn’t be more different from Cassie. A drunk stepfather and a submissive mother left the home broken. When social services came and gave her mother a choice between her husband and daughter, Lilian is left alone. Things began looking up now that Lilian’s been adopted. Her new and rich family decide to move her out to California. Cassie and Lilian are bound together in an inescapable fate; what affects one, affects the other. From here on, things are about to get messy.

Luke Walker is the star quarterback: tall, athletic, and effortlessly charming, with the kind of easy confidence that only comes from years in the spotlight. Raised in a wealthy family, Luke has known Heather Dawson, the high school's head cheerleader, for as long as he can remember. Heather, with her beauty and sharp wit, is every bit Luke's equal in popularity and influence. She's the girl everyone admires, not just for her looks but for her relentless drive, flawless routines, and her head for leadership, which she wields over the cheer squad. As senior year unfolds, Heather and Luke find themselves questioning what they really want-and if the life everyone expects of them is the one they'll ultimately choose. Beneath the pressures of the high school social scene and family expectations, they begin to reconnect in new, unexpected ways, exploring a deep, complex relationship built on shared memories, unspoken dreams, and the question of who they really are beneath the titles and expectations.
