Outcast from vampire society for reasons unclear, she's searching for the one ticket she has back in, one that a lot of people would much rather see locked away. In an attempt to keep her from finding it, an unknown group calling themselves HF takes her best friend Nikola as incentive, threatening to turn him over to a group of lycanthropes if she doesn't give them what they want. The problem isn't that Nikola doesn't belong with them, by all means he should, but who runs the convocation is a different story. Elizabeth and Grace have a long history best left unsaid, one that could threaten Nikola's future if he isn't careful, which might not be his strong suit. The only question left is who takes the fall, and who takes the prize?
