This story follows the horrible lives of 6 teenagers in Manchester, England. Teen life is hard as it is, but these teens are different. They all have mental illnesses. When they all get sent to the same insane asylum, on the same ward, they become close. Some leave and some stay, but none of them forget each other and stick together. Hope you enjoy! :)

Allison Mae Carter is 16. She lives in a orphanage. She lives there with 49 other girls. When Allison was 7 her mom found out that her husband was cheating on he with another guy. 3 weeks later Allison found her on the bathroom floor dead. She committed suicide. Well that's what shes been told. Eventually her soon to be stepdad moved in. After the death Allison would not talk to anybody. She was not paying attention at school and would just sit in the corner of the classroom by herself. On top of that her dad started to abuse her daily. It got so bad she had to go to the hospital twice. Even though she hated her stepdad he still liked her. He just didn't know what to do. When Allison turned 8 her dad sent her to an orphanage .
