This is the story of Malcolm-a black kid growing up in Compton,California,with no father and a mother who works multiple jobs just to make ends meet.Even though he lives in these circumstances,he's not your typical hood kid.He's never did or sold drugs and he's s straight A student who plans to attend Harvard after graduating.One day him and his "nerd" friends get invited to a drug dealers birthday party and things go real wrong real quick.
