15 year old Caroline, for as long as she could remember, has been living with her Master in the excluded part of the forest. He is afraid she will leave him if she finds out about the outside world. So, each week, Master abducts a girl, a friend for Caroline, and brings her home. If Master does not think the girl is good enough, the girl dies. Master aims high to find the right girl, but fails each week. Until he makes the mistake of bringing Daisy home. Then everything changes for Caroline.
