And when love and affection actually start reaching out to him for the first time in his life, he is snatched far away and thrown into a pit of darkness. Lust paints his nights in rainbow colors while his soul crumbles slowly. Lust is not love. But can it give rise to emotions deeper and purer?

For as long as I could remember vampires ruled other humans. I found it that way and I believed that was an injustice. Not like I could do much about it. Once I turned of age, I would be sold as a blood slave, a pet and my life would possibly end. I never liked these creatures to begin with. Adding salt to injury I was bought by a royal vampire, the prince. I cursed the day I was born. Maybe not all vampires were the same, but for humans that was just wishful thinking. (This book has mature mentions, violence, blood, sexual scenes and mature content. Proceed with caution.)
