There is absolutely no reason in the world why they should know each other. A privileged Prince turned soldier and a professor's daughter turned PR magnate, do not run in the same circles. And yet, their lives have been inexorably linked since that fateful date at Eton in 2000.

Over the past 15 years there are days when Anna Hamilton has wondered what she did in a past life to deserve being sucked into the overwhelmingly powerful vacuum of Prince Harry's life. Their friendship has given her some of the most wonderful and excruciating memories of her life. Back in London working for Harry's enemies she wonders if the time has finally come to end their...interesting friendship.

Ever since Anna burst into that office at Eton Harry has been intrigued. She is, ironically the one constant in his life. He knows he doesn't deserve her has even pushed her away but he just can't seem to let it go. And even though Anna is being curiously mum about her new job in London Harry sees an opportunity he refuses to pass by.

After seeing the photograph of Rose with her baby, Lloyd, Miles now knew beyond doubt that he was his son. One day LLoyd would inherit the Seton property empire, a business which Miles's father had created from scratch and which Miles now ran. He was determined that he would take responsibility for raising his son but to his intense frustration and anger this meant that he would be forced to make contact with Rose, the woman he had spent the better part of a year trying to forget. When he had first met Rose he had thought he had found his soul mate. But then his friend Max, whom he had known since childhood, had told Miles that Rose was cheating on him and he had the evidence to prove it. So not only had he been taken for a mug and fallen for a lying, traitorous bitch but now she had his son too. Rose was dreading having to meet with Miles. She had hidden away from the eyes of the world hoping to be left alone after the hurt of Miles's very public dumping of her but she knew that it was inevitable he would come after her now that a picture of Lloyd had been published in an international gossip magazine. Lloyd and Miles were as alike as peas in a pod. She was under no illusion that the Seton money machine and all the lawyers it needed would soon start grinding away at getting custody of LLoyd. She was still totally in the dark as to why Miles had left her when she was pregnant and now she was terrified that he would try to take LLoyd away from her too. But Rose was no pushover. She had been an international model in her teens and now was a successful businesswoman in her own right. If she had to she would give Miles the fight of his life. The problem was, Rose still yearned for the days before Miles had walked out on her, days she counted amongst the happiest in her life.

I rounded the corner to the hall, only to smack into something. "I'm so sorry," I apologized, reaching down to pick up a book that had fallen. My heart skipped a beat as I looked up, making eye contact with a pair of hazel eyes. "No worries," the boy replied, his voice rich and smooth, "Are you alright?" I nodded quickly, flashing a smile. I was too stunned to respond. Standing in front of me was none other than Prince Everest Dresden Macallister. "Who are you?" he asked, tilting his head curiously. "I'm Aspen," I replied, trying hard not to look away from his curious stare. "Dresden," he said, holding out his hand. I assumed he was going to shake mine, but instead he brought it to his lips, pressing a kiss against it. My breath caught in my throat, my cheeks burning. "Nice to meet you," I managed to say without stuttering. "My apologies, but I have to hurry. Miss Elizabeth has asked me to retrieve something." He nodded, stepping aside as I hurried into the room. I stood there, taking a deep breath to calm myself. Once I was done, I spotted the prince sitting by the window, the book that I'd picked up in his hand. I ducked my head and made a beeline to the door. "Aspen," he called, making me freeze. "Yes?" "Will you be attending the Charity Gala?" ------------------- Aspen's only purpose living in London was to finish her semester abroad. Or so she thought. She finds herself caught in the middle of The Royal Family and their dark past as she scrambles to sort out the course of her future. Never in a million years did she think she would find herself best friends with Prince Everest Dresden Macallister, the next heir to the British Throne. But it's not long before things start going south. Crush or no crush, Aspen doesn't have much time to prove her friendship to the future King. The clock is ticking. And time doesn't slow for anyone, Royal or not.

Eveline Delamane is currently speeding through life at 15 wtf's per hour. Most evenings are spend with three bottles of gin and two of her best mates. Hangovers were friendly reminders that at the age of twenty five, everyone had to take care of themselves. She's always the one getting into trouble at bars, not being able to hold back her tongue for five seconds. The things that matter in Evee's life: having a good laugh and her career. The children at the hospital were the reason she survived her hangovers four times a week. They always knew how to put a smile on her face, after four cups of coffee that is. When one day, Eveline stumbles upon a world-famous ginger at work, things just don't go as smoothly as usual. Through her black eye, hangover and sarcastic wit, she doesn't seem to recognize one particular prince. What was Ed Sheeran doing at the hospital anyways? ----------------- This is a work of fiction that was written and finished before The Duke and Duchess of Sussex met one another. I choose every aspect of this story because that's what I liked at the time. The similarities are scary and pure coincidence. It freaked me out at the time too (I wrote it first, they decided to live it later- or I was just good at guessing what would happen if H got married). This is a mature story, there's cursing and lemons. English is not my native language. I was 23 when I wrote this, there are some typos. The later chapters are written better and get more detailed. THIS IS A WORK OF FICTION. Seriously, I'm sorry H. Please don't ever read this.

"So we're alone," he said slowly. "That's a thoughtful observation," she whispered. She could feel her fingertips tremble slightly as they clasped around his hair. She didn't know why she suddenly felt so nervous. She moved her hands and allowed her fingers to trail slowly and gently down the side of his face and he involuntarily shivered at her touch. Eventually her fingers landed on his lips and she traced across them softly. They parted slightly and she could hear and feel him let out what she assumed to be an unintentional breath. He moved inwards, his lips pulling from her fingertips to hover near her ear. "I'm a thoughtful person." * After getting accepted into the Healer training program and moving to London, Marlene begins her life outside of Hogwarts. Despite the looming dangers of war, she has a pretty decent life; she has friends who care about her, a boyfriend who loves her, and the determination to keep fighting for a life worth living. Except for Sirius; the only certainty she has left in the world. However, war only seems to be threatening to tear them apart. She can't quite put her finger on what has started changing, but something certainly has, and love may not be enough to get her through it this time. It is only a matter of time before Marlene must make the most important choice of all; join the war or fall apart.
