Ivy was taking a vacation with her best friend Olive. They were almost to New York City when all the lights below them went out. Every single building in the country went dark, and the captain of their flight came on the speaker to tell the terrified passengers that the plane was going down. No one knows, or no one will SAY, what is happening. As the end draws near, Ivy and Olive have to call everyone they love, and make peace with everyone they don't.
