19 year old Sana Sharma, an American born desi, loves to sing. Music is her God, and all she wants is to be the next Shreya Ghoshal. Living in America, however, it seems as if she'll never get the chance. And with all the performances she gives as well as college at an Ivy League, Sana has no time for boys. 

All that changes when she gets selected to participate in the famous singing show, Indian Idol, which is featured in North America for the first time. In addition to getting a chance to prove her ability, she also meets the much sought after heartthrob of India, 25 year old Aarav Kapoor, who happens to be the judge of the show.

When they meet for the first time, sparks fly, and within just a few days, they start to fall for each other. Aarav recognizes Sana's talent immediately, which is why he gives her advice and spends more time with her than any other participant. However, he also notices a sadness in her, and whenever the tears come, he is always there to comfort her. 

Although both of them know that their relationship is wrong since he is a judge, and she is a participant, he is a celebrity, and she is a nobody, he is 25 years old, and she is 19, there is no stopping their love. 

What starts out as an innocent crush turns into a burning romance as the two spend more and more time with each other. When the time comes to choose between love and society, what do the two choose?
