Harry is on trial for the rape and murder of a little girl. He is quiet and uncooperative when it comes to lawyers. He pleads guilty, but refuses to answer any questions in either public or private. He wishes only to be thrown in jail for the rest of his life. Throughout his time in the county jail, he has been appointed to several lawyers by his desperate older brother, but they can get him to say few words if any.
Louis is a well-known law attorney. Smart, manipulative, and to the point. He stops at nothing to win his case. When he is appointed to Harry, he knows something is up. He senses the holes in the boy’s background. He meets with Harry for as many hours as he can each day, long and agonizing hours of getting nowhere. Will he possibly be able to unlock the troubled boy’s past in order to save his future?
