Abby a fifteen year old in grade ten must move with her mother because her mother wants to be a teacher and can't find an open spot for her where they are living now. Abby's mom says she can choose where they go. She picks Hawaii. Abby and her mom inherit some money from Mack, Abby's dead grandfather. They buy a beautiful house and Abby can't wait to start school. The first day at a new school she locks eyes with the bad boy. It sends shivers down her spine. All the girls in the school would kill to be with him. Abby told herself she would not like him, he was a bad boy and not a good influence. He was a player anyway. Will she keep telling herself to forget him or will she slip under his spell?

Which makes you think about how unrealistic love like that is. I used to think the same thing until I met him.
