Kim and her best friend Mia have been best friends since kindergarten and now they are 16 years old . On one horrible night, Kim and Mia get into a fight at their traditional camp sleepover. Mia leaves in a angry manner out into the forest. Kim is left alone. Kim then decides that Mia isn't coming back so she packs up and leaves. Two days later Kim still hasn't heard a word from Mia. After sitting in her living room with her cereal she turns on the news. Kim is shocked to hear that Mia has been missing for two days. Kim knows that Mia wouldn't have just ran away, she's a good girl. Kim wants to know what happened and let's just say that this story doesn't have a happy ending for Kim or for Mia.
This is a mystery thriller that has the stories of both girls through their adventures, well not exactly good adventures.
