Her Conscience
Star is a different type of girl. Ever since she got detached from her divorced, emotionally unavailable parents, she's been filling up her quiet, lonely world with music and dancing. She's practically a musical prodigy at 16 and music can't possibly be taken away from her. The only people she's ever been really close to are her psycho, over enthusiastic bff's. They're the only people she can tolerate anyway. That's until one fateful day when she meets a cocky, narcissistic, though really cute guy at her favourite fro yo shop who gets under her skin for just being himself. She absolutely detests guys like him. Absolutely gorgeous, frustratingly charming, cocky as hell and shockingly talented at music. That's right. Star discovers that this seemingly unbearable guy loves music almost as much as she does and just that single fact makes her heart soften a little so she lets her guard down for just a tiny bit. But after that one moment that she decides to let it down, she realises that she can't get it back up again. She discovers she can actually feel things and once she acknowledges this, her whole world is completely changed from the quiet, peaceful, drama free life she has always been used to into a series of drama, heartbreak, tears, broken trusts and friendships. |Featured X1| @romance(high school romance)Complete

Just Another Heartbroken Story
There's nothing to it. Really. I'm just and average girl who's finding out that the world is big. In fact, it's too big. It's so big it's messing up me and some of the people I care about. And it's just because I learned a new concept called love?! I could go on and on, but these are just my free-written poems about love, heartbreak, recovery, and just being okay that I write hoping someone is there. Maybe someone will understand. Apfel (Book 1)
Every word was drawn out of me like a hot wire- some fast, some excruciatingly slow. This collection is very personal to me... Apfel (the German word for apple) marks the beginning of a stage in my life: depression. October to November 2017. This was not about...me; it was all about the other side: the change, the loss, the gathering tidal wave and - and the inevitable. "It's better than keeping it all bottled up"... they say. "You have an outlet" safe; not their responsibility. But they don't think you understand... I bottle it up in poems. Each one charged with aeons of hurt. Each one pushed under the carpet. I always hide away and run from my problems and when I face them create a greater mess than before. That's why I never read them over...until now. Please note that all grammatical and linguistic, as well as those in punctuation and spelling or placing of words were intentional. I is not a specific gender or orientation. I is meant to mold to the reader's idea of who they would be. We follow I in not only a love story, one where love blossoms and lingers until its destruction, but a tale of self-discovery, where, after a long and arduous quest for it, I finally finds happiness.
