Raelynn Esther Jones is a newbie to the community. She just moved to San Francisco with her family, which includes her parents and her older brother, Colin. She was never the cool kid, and always got bullied, which caused her to distance herself from everyone. Thank god for her strong relationship with her athletic brother. He influenced her life greatly, especially her love for sports. What happens to her social life when she joins a volleyball team?

Eighteen year old Daisy Phillips is the volleyball captain of Greenville High School in Bettendorf Iowa. Daisy isn't the most attractive girl at Greenville High, most of the boys at her school go for the girls with skinny figures, painted on skinny jeans, and tons of makeup on their faces. She was okay with that, she preferred her slightly baggy clothing, sun dresses, and one specific hockey goalie. She has always kept her eyes on the things she wants most in life. It's been her dream to make captain of the volleyball team and carry her team to the championships, and she's determined to do so her senior year. She wasn't going to let anything get in the way of her focus, especially not the six foot three, brunette boy who was best friends with her brother. He wouldn't like her anyway, he doesn't even know her first name. But that doesn't stop the flutter in her chest every time she sees him in the hallways of school or on her living room couch. Morgan Woods was considered the bad boy of Greenville High, always wearing a scowl on his face and messing with the nerds. Morgan was the goalie of the Greenville High School hockey team and best friend of the hockey captain Rory Phillips. Rory and Morgan would spend countless hours together at the Phillips household, playing video games and telling each other everything. But Morgan has kept one secret locked up tight that involved Rory's twin sister Daisy. He always told himself he would never be able to love anyone, but that all changed when Daisy had given him a kiss on his cheek for helping her from falling on the ice when she first learned to skate. He's never told her how he's felt about her because she could never love anyone like him. Plus she has always treated him like another brother in her "perfect" family. But that might change after a fatal accident on the ice with Rory. With Rory in the hospital, will the past trauma cause Morgan and Daisy to grow closer together or push farther apart?
