She cannot let him die since he is her last living parent, her mother passed away years ago, but it's not looking good for her father since his treatments and surgery will cost more than they could ever think of affording. Her little sister, lives states away finishing school at the collage of her dreams, trying to spare her sister of the heartache of possible losing another loved one she decides its best to keep it from her. The doctor becomes smitten with the woman, but unsure if it was really what she wanted she decided to distance herself from the man. While trying to find a way to pay the hospital bills, she meets a dashing young wealthy man with an exterior of steel, and lack of compassion towards her, or so she thought. She's soon torn between staying in her failing marriage, accepting the love of the handsome and smart doctor meant to save her father's life, or the dashing young man with a black heart.
