I once knew a boy who loved to draw.
His wrist was a canvas and the blade his pen. He drew in the night out of sight. His gallery got bigger and bigger, they stayed out of sight until one last night. Where he rolled up his sleeve and showed me his scars. And I said "I draw too." From then on we've been best friends, until one day when he started again. The blood rolled down and the blade stained red, a million thoughts in my head. I walked in the room and gasped at the sight. Blood everywhere and the boy cried. I held his hand and cleaned his wounds. Promised him that it will get better soon. The next day we shared a kiss, this kiss the most bliss. The fire burned out in our souls. The stone turned to gold. We were happy again. Never again did he pick up the blade. And that day forever the same. That boy who I knew long ago, is gone. And we sit happily on our throne.
