Okay so this is my first ever fan fiction. It's phan (Dan + Phil) and it's based in a high school/ secondary school. All the terms and names of stuff will be English terms because I'm English and I've got no idea how the American education system works and Dan + Phil are English so yeah.

Dan Howell was struggling at school. Not a minor struggle it was severe. He was pretty much ready to stop attending his high school all together. His grades never seemed to improve even if he tried. His teachers never seemed to be able to help him so when Dan meets his new tutor Phil Lester from 2 years above he thinks he might finally be in with a chance of passing his GCSEs.

How to Help Howell?
Dan is struggling with his self confidence. Well, let's be honest. Dan has no self confidence and struggles to face the harsh realities of life and the pessimistic thoughts and voices that inhabit and nag his brain constantly. Phil tries to help his friend to realize that he really isn't as much as a monster as he thinks of himself to be. These two friends embark on a journey of love, hate, discovery, and confusion. And will they even still be friends by the end of the journey? Will Dan's turmoil break apart their friendship or turn it into something more?
