Christine and Micheal Vincent are best friends they have gone through a lot for having parents that work in the FBI. High School is easy for both of them Christine being the captain of the soccer team and Micheal is the Captain of the football team. They are always there to protect each other and then what happens when they suddenly can't? All characters go to the Kathy Reich and probably the show helped too.
