Vlamira ( vla-mere-rah) is your average teenage girl with your not so average life. her mother died when she was a baby and her father took her in. shes 16 years old and has a normal bestfriend, clarisa, and like normal teenage girls they're into guys, nails, hair, and make-up. and like an average teenage girl she has a secrect.
But heres the not so average part. her father is one of the lead head vampires in a vampire council. hes been teaching vlamira all about vampires. but on a Halloween evening vlamiras teaching take on an all new meaning. when her father has a council meeting in the living room.
Everythings fun and games between her and her bestfriend and they crash the little gathering. bad idea. the other council members have had enough of the games and her dads little secret that he was hiding comes out. Vlamira is sent to Russia from Romania to take her training to a whole new level. the council members train her in combat to kill vampires that ran from the council laws.if she fails her missions she fails to live. if she passes she gets to go back home or does she?

This story is not getting the attention it deserves, so I am attempting to "re-brand" it. Maybe no one "gets" it. If you want to read about "Normal" teenagers, maybe this isn't for you, it's more complicated than that. It's about a teenager who doesn't fit it, but doesn't want to, who has the best two friends that anyone could have. Who watched his father lose his job in the Recession and then loses his home, and how he copes, especially when he learns that their new house is haunted and the ghost is in his room. Michael was an average kid, although he's always stood out. He was a school jock but also a skater whose long blond hair almost reaches his waist. When his parents lived in a house in a home owners association like all his other friends, life seemed normal. Then his father lost his job and suddenly those "friends" weren't there anymore--except for his two best friends, Short Round and Dewey. The three are skaters, good ones, who live for girls and their skateboards. They're also basically good kids who take pride in being different without paying attention to it. When Michael loses his home and his family has to move they have his back. And they are there for him when the ghost girl starts following him around. Mariah was murdered when she was just 15, her remains were never found, although no one but her and her ghost friend, Crazy Girl, know where their bodies are buried. The house Michael now lives in is the one where she lived with her family, and her old room is now his. She appears to him one night, trying to taunt him, but against her will she is falling in love with the boy who lives in her old room.
