There comes a time in everyone's life when they are faced with a difficult choice. For most people, following your instincts is easy. You know what to do, and you know what not to do.

But what if you were faced with a choice that is just not that simple. When your instincts tell you one thing, but your heart tells you something else.

I was faced with just such a choice. While driving down a deserted highway. I saw a car on the side of the road. Not just a car, a police car. We all know the police are trained to take care of themselves, so I drove past without stopping, but something didn't feel right.

      What would you have done?

Two broken souls in the midst of a crazy world. Two souls running away from their past. There was no light at the end of the tunnel. The tunnel was cracking, slowly closing in. When these two connect, as if they were set on the same path, light creeps in through the cracks, and for or a moment, the tunnel seems to have a way out, but what if it collapses before they make it? - "You saved my life." The words come out as a whisper, I've been dying to say that. I thank god every day that he came into my life when he did. "Fuck Vivian, you don't know how much I needed you." I tear up just a little as he speaks, I don't know the last time I cried happy tears. I bring my hands up to cup his cheeks, resting my forehead against his. "No matter how much I push, I don't mean it. Please don't give up on me." My words seem to relieve him in some way as I feel his shoulders relax. "Even when I'm gone, I'll be by your side, forever." He brings his hand, sticking his pinky out. "pinky promise."I wrap mine around his, placing a kiss on his lips. Warning before you read!! This is my first book! This book will contain topics of SA, eating disorders, and mature content, if any of these things may bother you in anyway, please scroll! I hope when I finish this book I can public a clean version, with a different perspective leaving out these topics, but for now, this is how i've envisioned this story to go! Enjoy -Ash🌸

...We were so caught up in the shared moment of care free joy to notice the midnight grey Toyota pickup truck speeding directly towards us. Meters before impact dad finally caught on to what was about to happen, despite it being day the approaching vehicle's headlights blinded us as our cars breaks slammed on, the sound of the tires melting away as the rubber tires scraped against the pavement filled the air and the scent of burning rubber overwhelmed my nostrils, despite our efforts the brakes didn't slow us down, we were to late. There was nothing we could do as we collided head on..." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Attempt two at writing a book lmao, summaries without spoilers are not my strong point but here you go: After a tragic child hood accident Astra is left utterly alone, forcing her to make a massive move across the states to live in Tennessee with her grandmother. A few years pass and Astra finds it difficult to deal with the trauma she experienced as a young child, but surrounded by friends and throwing herself into education she starts to heal, until she meets Jason. In the beginning Jason was a kind, caring guy who seemed genuinely interested in getting to know Astra, but not everyone is who they seem to be. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ TW LIST!!!! (there's alot) swearing, lots PTSD/past trauma Character death Violence/ injury detailing Stalking Kidnapping Depression, anxiety Panic attacks Alcohol and drug usage Over thinking Self harm/sabotage Survivors guilt Potential homophobia Eating disorders If there's anything you think needs to be posted as a TW then let me know, also please don't read if there is anything that triggers you. Some of these topics are personal, don't be afraid to reach out if you need to talk or ask anything :) Also this is my first solo writing project so any feedback positive/negative is appreciated, writing tips for anything too, hope you enjoy. - jammy :) 24/09/24 - ?

"Alright, it's 12 noon. Deal or not?" I couldn't look at him, so I stared at the beauty in front of me. Somehow I knew he was watching it too. I felt like we were characters of a famous story, standing side by side, gazing ahead. I hesitated, my heart was beating fast, I was almost afraid that he's going to hear it too. But for the first time in my life, I trusted my heart and told my brain to go to hell. The girl lead in this story was going to do what she wanted, and won't fear the consequences. "Let's do this." I said and turned towards him. We remained silent for a couple of moments, absorbing the meaning of the deal we just agreed to. And then I saw his lips turned upwards just enough for me to notice. He turned to me and held my hand. I felt several emotions just by touching him. Nervousness, excitement, fear, happiness all at once. I pushed them all aside, and smiled ear to ear. He held his hand up, counting down to three, my heart racing with every finger he raised. And just as he finished, we jumped off the cliff.
