Two real people.
Two fake identities.
One fucked up story.

Petra Butler is only in seventh grade, and already she's had a rough life. Aside from dealing with a mixture of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, her family could care less about her. An abusive father and boyfriend wreak havoc on her fragile life and leaves her more than a little insecure. After a botched suicide attempt, her best friend, Krista Dalley, intervenes. At Krista's bid, Petra creates a new account on Wattpad, a social networking site for aspiring authors, to find a sanctuary from the world around her. Under the screen name of Tokyo Ebershire, she starts a book titled: 1,000 Reasons to Kill Myself.
Markl Ammerstead doesn't have to be told that he's different to know that he's not normal. He can't help that he likes boys! Trapped with his homophobic, religious family, he finds himself slipping into depression. After a random internet search, he discovers Petra's story. Intrigued, he joins Wattpad under the screen name of Moscow Douglas and begins his overly keen following of Petra's book.
Under false identities, will Moscow and Tokyo be able to break free from their bonds of self hate?
Or are they too far gone to ever return?

Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
