Lillyana’s parents died in a horrible fire eleven years ago, leaving her and her older brother to fend for themselves. Lilly lives an average life which consists of school and work. When she isn’t busy with that she spends her days taking in the beauty of the forest behind her house. The small redhead would rather spend her time in nature than have to deal with the other teens at her school. They view her as an outsider or as they like to call her an “ugly hippie.” And with her preference to leave her feet bare, her hair untamed, and her clothes dirty and unfashionable she doesn’t really argue. She ignores their jabs and petty insults all the while wishing for something to change her boring life. On the day before her eighteenth birthday she finds herself in the forest and after finding a new unlikely friend she finds out the truth of what she and her brother are: Fox shifters. Or Kitsune as her brother calls them. And so begins Lillyana’s adventure to save her people, become a true Goddess, and maybe even fall in love.
